At Little Stars Montessori School, we’ve created a special place where your child’s sense of wonder and natural curiosity are nurtured every day by our passionate and enthusiastic team. During their time with us, we will play our part in helping your child to develop their social skills and gain increasing independence. We believe that learning is child’s play and all our fun activities promote your little ones physical, emotional and cognitive development.
You’re always welcome at Little Stars Montessori School, we operate an open door policy and encourage parents to spend time with us and participate in Cultural events and share your skills and hobbies with us. Our School
Little Stars Montessori School is a purpose built Early Education Centre which is under new Management since October 2018. It has been over-hauled and renovated to meet the highest quality standards of Education and Care within the sector. We are conveniently located in Kilminchy Village, just off the Dublin Road in Portlaoise, Co Laois.
The School currently operates term-term as a sessional part-time and full daycare service, offering the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) Scheme and the National Childcare Scheme (NCS), for pre-school children ranging in age from 2.6 months to approximately 6 years. We are aware of the effect that the whole environment has on the developing child and are committed to providing an environment which supports and provides for the holistic needs of the developing child.

"I was humbled and honoured to have been admitted as a Fellow of the All-Ireland Business Foundation (FAIBF) in December 2022, for "ongoing commitment to the highest standards of business excellence".
All-Ireland Business Foundation is an independent national body that identifies and acknowledges the country’s most ambitious and visionary businesses. It is also the accreditation body for the Business All-Star mark.
The Foundation does incredible work in recognising outstanding Irish businesses, so I’m very honoured to be admitted as a Fellow.
Like my colleagues, I believe a robust, dynamic Early Years industry is crucial to an equitable society. As a Fellow, I will continue to highlight not just the challenges we face, but the innovations and initiatives that are needed to make it an industry that can attract and retain great people now and into the future.
